Who We Are

The Oregon Transportation Forum serves as a non-partisan collaborative platform bringing together stakeholders from various sectors to discuss and address transportation-related issues within the state. Comprising government officials, industry leaders, advocacy groups and community representatives, the forum facilitates dialogue, exchange of ideas, and development of solutions to enhance Oregon's transportation infrastructure and systems. Through conferences, workshops and regular meetings, the forum fosters partnerships and coordination among stakeholders to promote sustainable, efficient and accessible transportation networks that meet the needs of Oregonians.

By convening experts and decision-makers, the forum drives forward-thinking initiatives aimed at improving mobility, reducing congestion, and advancing safety across the state. The Oregon Transportation Forum’s members represent a wide variety of businesses, associations and organizations that care deeply about the safe, efficient and environmentally-responsible movement of people and goods to support daily activities and a strong economy. Our members are dedicated to improving the future of Oregon’s transportation systems — ensuring the health and economic wellbeing of our state’s residents. 

The Oregon Transportation Forum is a private, nonprofit membership organization that encourages full development, maintenance and integration of all transportation modes, including highway, pedestrian, bicycle, air, transit, marine and rail, for the safe and efficient movement of people and products.

  • Putting Oregonians to work creating cutting-edge, multimodal transportation networks to connect people to jobs, attract new talent and compete on a global scale.

  • Addressing costly and time-consuming freight bottlenecks and improving connections to ports and freight yards to better serve agriculture, forestry, manufacturing and other key Oregon industries.

  • Keeping goods and people moving safely and reliably, maintaining our transportation systems in a state of good repair, and increasing our resiliency to natural disasters.

  • Improving public health and air quality by making our neighborhoods walkable, bikeable and more accessible through improved access to transit.

  • Serving all Oregonians regardless of age, race, disability, income level or location.
