Meet Our Leaders

  • Mary Kyle McCurdy, President

    Mary Kyle serves as President of the Oregon Transportation Forum and as Associate Director and Managing Attorney of 1000 Friends of Oregon, where she oversees the organization's program work and leads its legislative efforts. She has a long and distinguished career as an attorney specializing in Oregon’s land use planning program, and has been affiliated with 1000 Friends of Oregon for 35 years.

    Born and raised near Chicago, Mary Kyle graduated from Stanford University with a degree in Human Biology and received her law degree from the University of California at Davis. She then clerked for a judge on the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, in Portland.

    In Oregon, Mary Kyle’s favorite places are the North Coast and the Wallowas. When she’s away from work, she spends time with her husband and daughters, and continues to explore the Pacific Northwest. She’s an avid cross-country skier, cyclist, hiker and reader.

  • Drew Hagedorn, Vice President

    Drew serves as Vice President of the Oregon Transportation Forum, as a representative of the Oregon Transit Association. He serves as a partner at Tonkon Torp, and as Chair of its Government Relations & Public Policy Practice Group. He is a long-time public affairs professional offering comprehensive government affairs services for the firm’s clients at the state, local, and regulatory levels. Drew has represented multiple Fortune 500 companies and key industry sectors ranging from commercial construction, to hospitals, Oregon public universities, broadcast and telecommunications companies, automakers, and various nonprofit industry associations.

    Drew received his undergraduate degree from the University of Southern California and his law degree from Lewis & Clark. He has been a member of the Oregon State Bar since 1999.

  • Marie Dodds, Secretary

    Marie Dodds serves at the Secretary of the Oregon Transportation Forum and as the Director of Government and Public Affairs at AAA Oregon/Idaho, where she’s worked since 2007. She has achieved years of success as a communications and government relations executive in developing, managing and executing communications, public information, advocacy and legislative strategies. She oversees the development and implementation of the club’s public affairs and government relations strategies, as well as media, internal and crisis communications.

    Dodds represents AAA Oregon/Idaho on numerous community task forces and stakeholder groups and builds relationships with local, regional and state government representatives to advocate and promote the AAA brand, policies and mission. Dodds also serves on various AAA National committees, which oversee the AAA federation’s involvement in advocacy, research and communications to affect federal and state activities for the AAA Federation’s 62 million members across North America.

  • Sarah Iannarone, The Street Trust

    Sarah Iannarone is Executive Director of The Street Trust, Oregon’s leading advocacy organization for a complete, safe, low-carbon, multimodal transportation system. Appointed by Governor Kotek, she served on the Regional Toll Advisory Committee and currently chairs the Jurisdictional Transfer Advisory Committee established by HB 2973. She also sits on Oregon’s HCAS Study Review Team and E-Micromobility Work Group; Metro's regional Transportation Policy Advisory Committee (TPAC); and the HB 2017 Transit (STIF) Advisory Committee.

  • Jana Jarvis, Oregon Trucking Association

    Jana has over 20 years of public policy and management experience in both the corporate and trade association environment. In 2010 she established her own public policy firm specializing in issues around tax policy, land use, environmental quality, natural resources, real estate, manufacturing, and of course, transportation policy. Prior to that she served as Vice President of Public Policy for the Oregon Association of REALTORS® where she led them to unprecedented levels of grassroots participation and political fundraising.

  • Anneliese Koehler, Metro

    Anneliese is the Legislative Affairs Manager for Metro. She works at the state and regional levels to ensure that our region is thriving. Previously, she advanced public policy priorities at Oregon Food Bank, specializing in housing and transportation. She started her career as a Jesuit Volunteer doing legal work for death row inmates in Texas and has her BA in economics and history from Amherst College.

  • Mark J. Landauer, Oregon Public Ports Association

    Mark J. Landauer serves as the Executive Director of the Oregon Public Ports Association, and represents several other organizations including the Special Districts Association of Oregon, the Oregon Association of Water Utilities, and the Columbia River Steamship Operators Association. Prior to that, Mark served for four and a half years as a Legislative Assistant to U.S. Senator Mark O. Hatfield, a lobbyist for the City of Portland, and the interim director for the City of Portland’s Office of Government Relations.

  • Brian Worley, Association of Oregon Counties

    Brian Worley is the County Road Program Director for the Association of Oregon Counties (AOC). The AOC Road Program was established in 1990 as a cooperative program with the Oregon Association of County Engineers and Surveyors (OACES) working with counties to promote public works activities and the professional application of land surveying through the exchange of ideas and technical assistance to enhance county road systems. Brian has been with AOC since March 2017.
